ReportShot Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

ReportShot has no account and no server. Your jobs and photos stay on your iPhone and, if you turn on Sync with iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We (the developer) never receive, see or store them, and the app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking.

What the app stores, and where

Sharing a job with your team

If you share a job, the people you invite can see and add to that job through iCloud sharing. The job is stored in your iCloud account. Teammates' names (as their iCloud account shows them) are recorded next to the photos they add and the items they check. You can stop sharing at any time from the job's menu.

Permissions the app asks for

Features that run on your iPhone

Reading text in photos, recognizing what a photo shows, writing help ("Tidy Up", "Write Summary") and translation all run on your device using Apple's frameworks. Translation may download a language from Apple the first time you use it. None of this is sent to us.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases.

What you share

Reports, photos, ZIP exports and CSV files leave the app only when you share them (for example by Mail or Messages). What happens next is up to you and the app you share with.

Deleting your data

Deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then are removed. Deleting the app removes everything on your iPhone. Data in your iCloud can be deleted in the Settings app under your Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Storage.

Children

ReportShot is a business tool and isn't directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version is posted here.
